Our client is an independent Oil & Gas operating company seeking Engineering Manager. The right candidates must provide process engineering expertise to aid in the execution of the company’s onshore and offshore projects and ongoing operations.

Engineering Manager
(Singapore - West)

Responsibilities:

1. Effective delegation and control of resources for optimum productivity
2. Welfare of department personnel and identification of training needs
3. Continual appraisal of department personnel
4. Ensuring compliance with regulatory, company, quality, environment, occupational health and safety standards and procedures
5. Plan, implement, and demonstrate continual improvement in occupational health and safety, quality, environment and productivity
6. Succession plan within the department
7. Liaison and coordination with regulatory bodies, clients, consultants, contractors, and internally within the company to satisfy their needs, within commercial controls, and essential requirement
8. Ensure company and project milestones, and commercial controls ae achieved by effective planning, logistics, and execution
9. Assessment of consultants, suppiers, subcontractors
10. Ensuring comprehensive inputs to Commercial, Purchase departments, with relevant technical details, support documents
11. Ensuring optimum work processes and equipment utilization
12. Generate, control and monitor department budgets
13. Document monthly reports as required

Requirements:

1. University degree in Engineering
2. 8 to 10 years of relevant marine and shipbuilding experiences
3. Strong leader, business driven, advocate of development investment and manage without second-guess
4. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
5. Accomplished negotiator with sound analytical abilities and capable of cost control and administration
6. Good team player, with a proactive approach
7. Possess professional integritu, analytical and creative thinking
